HSM Revived!!

Hey people!
Remember how much we all loved High School Musical???
It was a joyride.. The cute, trendy high school with the uber-cool it-guy Zac Efron, the pretty, adorable maths junkie Vanessa Hudgens and all their cronies. I remember swooning my way through my own high school over their wallpapers.

But now its all GONE, GONE, GONE.

Can we forget how liberating was 'Breaking free' or how cool were the dance moves in 'What time is it?' or 'All for one'////

I know, right now we've only got Twilight mania in our heads.

But before the vampires sizzled the screen or Megan Fox ate up live men(in Jennifer's Body) or Vanessa hudgens proved to be the next adult-movie star( hehehe), we had HSM.

Lets not forget how we girls drooled over Zachary's smile.

This is for you Zac, my favourite poster boy!

Love, XOXO Deeps

Lets fall in love, and end up alone

Hey people!

hw ya doing??

Today I'm gonna talk about dating. I'm just a novice, yeah, but I can SEE (what happens around me).. and I can read too..( by that I mean loads of relationship books)...

Well subjects like dates are banned in my pretty little town of Ambala... c'mon how can you date with only ONE MALL (that too a mini mall), relatives thronging the restaurants, cafes and THE MALL, and who can miss those PESTERING classmates and acquaintances (who appear every time you're with someone you're not supposed to be with).. Yeah Life is hard here.. even harder for singles like me...

Well I might elaborate on the lingo of the teens here... people have defnitely forgotten the words such as 'relationship' or even more indecently -'affair'.. we only hear 'chal rahi hai', 'ho rakhi hai' 'uski waali'.. blah blah bullshit...

Well I've seen two kind of people in the dating scene- lets try to figure out who you belong to-

1. Those kind of people who really underestimate themselves. Even if they do initially, they throw their self esteem out of the window as a relationship starts and end up in a needy, gooey disgusting relation which literally stagnates!! (I want certain girls to read the above again). Oh man, a relationship is about progressing, developing yourself and your partner. Would you like to strangle him/her with your needy ways (a by-product of low self image)??

2. There are those who set impossibly high standards. Its good, setting up the bar. But what would you suggest to someone who wants a movie star look-alike with a sprawling estate, adonis features, an einsteinium(lol, I'm a chemistry student) brain?? C'mon why do people forget to dwell in reality??

There are plenty of good people out there whom you'd love to date and who'd love to be with you. Why close your eyes, not see what is in front of you? Call a spade, a spade.

And please, don't forget that a single date is not the end of the world. The last time I heard, there were about 5 billion men and 4 billion women walking this earth. There's gotta be something pretty good for you out there...
Just keep your eyes, ears and instincts open.

Luv ya all!! Muahh...

P.S. For my cousins and relatives- yar meri koi galti nahi, I'm single okay? I just saw things and wrote about it. Don't go ear-pulling over me about it.

Some random poem

A brilliant confession originally drafted by my wonderful brother- Amresh Garg. for plagiarizing,bro...

Dear brain, sorry for overloading you with thoughts of him.
Dear tummy, sorry for all the butterflies.
Dear pillow, sorry for all the tears.
Dear heart, sorry for all the damage.
Dear me,sorry for being head-over-shoes in love with him.

What to do when we grow up??

heya friends!

I know I'm blogging too much.. I should be studying. But I recently came across this great piece while reading the leaked script of the much awaited 'TWILIGHT SAGA:ECLIPSE'(BTW Rpattz is too hot) ... Maybe it'll take the pressure off some of my fellow juniors as well as the seniors undergoing their stressful counseling sessions.

Enjoy!

When we were five, they asked us what we wanted to be when we grew up. Our answers were Astronauts, President, or in my case- Princess. When we were ten, they asked us again and we answered- Rock star, Cowboy or in my case- Gold medalist. Now that we've grown up, they want a serious answer. Well how about this- WHO THE HELL KNOWS?

This isn't the time to make hard and fast decisions, its time to make MISTAKES. TAKE THE WRONG TRAIN and get stuck somewhere chill. Fall in love- a lot. MAJOR IN PHILOSOPHY coz there's no way to make a good career out of that.

Change your mind, change it again because nothing is permanent.

So make as many mistakes as you can. That way, someday when they ask again what we want to be, WE WON'T HAVE TO GUESS, WE'LL KNOW.

Love, DG
